Redlife- “The Night’s Young”

I feel as though writing for this site has made me a rather worldly individual. I attribute this to the amount of Canadian rap I’ve consumed that otherwise would have likely never been on my plate. For example, please listen to this song by Toronto’s Redlife, with wise words rapped well by MCs Cryp2nite and Remy Rezzin’. The beat is by a beatsmith by the name of K-Note, who does a fine job here. They released it on the The Night’s Young / Who’s Talkin’ Weight vinyl way back in 1997, the same year the Olympic Committe chose Athens for the 2004 games.  If there’s one main thing I took away from this song is that it’s correct to say “eat a food”, in Canada at least. North America stand together.
